Man reports theft

YOUNGSTOWN

Police are investigating after a man reported Saturday that he left his garage door open overnight and discovered two bicycles and a GPS stolen. The resident told police the GPS was in an unlocked car parked inside the Volney Road garage.

One injured in crash

A crash Sunday in New Middleton Township sent one person to the hospital, the Columbiana County post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported.

The crash occurred about noon near county Road 432, also known as Bye Road.

A 42-year-old male driver suffered injuries not deemed to be life-threatening after his vehicle went off the side of the road into a ditch and rolled over, OSHP reports.

Sex assault reported

Pennsylvania State Police at the Mercer post are investigating a report of sexual assault. A woman told police a man took her to see a bridge at an unspecified location and then sexually assaulted her, according to a news release.
