Fire officials investigating Sunday morning porch fire

YOUNGSTOWN — Reports said a strong smell of an accelerant was found during a fire early Sunday morning at a vacant 821 Early Road home.

Firefighters called to the home about 1:30 a.m. found a fire on the front porch that also made it’s way inside the front of the home before it was extinguished.

The accelerant was detected inside the home, reports said. Damage is listed at $3,000. There were no injuries.
