Today’s entertainment picks:

v Summer Festival of the Arts, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.: An artists marketplace, live performances and more on the campus of Youngstown State University. Also stop by St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church’s Summerfest, near Choffin Center.

v 2DE Gospel Fest, 1 to 10 p.m.: Gospel star Fred Hammond headlines this event, which also includes several local choirs ($20). It’s on Central Square in downtown Youngstown.

v All Ameri-Con, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.: There will be comic vendors, special guests (including James O’Barr, creator of “The Crow” comic) and more at Packard Music Hall in Warren ($5).

v Jim Frank Comb, 6 p.m.: Enjoy some live music at Harding Park, 249 Roosevelt Drive, Hubbard.

v Blue Lunch, 2 to 4 p.m.: The big bluesy and jazzy band in a free show at Warren Community Amphitheater.

U.S. Gymnastics Trials (8:30 P.M., NBC): Here’s another chance to get to know the Olympians before they head to Rio. Results from the U.S. Gymnastics Trials in San Jose, Calif., will determine the five-woman team and alternates for the Summer Games.

“The Night Of” (9 p.m., HBO): “The Night Of” could become this summer’s binge obsession. It’s an incredibly compelling murder-mystery about a young Pakistani-American student (Riz Ahmed), who has been accused of a brutal killing, and his ambulance-chasing attorney (John Turturro).

Roller derby bout to benefit charity

BOARDMAN

The Little Steel Derby Girls will take on the Akron Roller Girls Saturday at Youngstown Skate, 7080 Tiffany Blvd., in a roller derby bout that will benefit the Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini Foundation and Animal Charity.

Admission is $10 at the door ($5 for children 6-12; free for 5 and under). Doors open at 6 p.m.

Theater presents musical ‘Dreamcoat’

NEW CASTLE, PA.

The New Castle Playhouse, 202 E. Long Ave., will present “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” July 15-17 and 21-24.

Curtain times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

Directed by Michael Cavalier, “Joseph” was written by the team of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber.

The family-friendly musical is about the trials and triumphs of Joseph, and it reimagines the Biblical story with songs.

Tickets are $16 ($13 for seniors, $11 for students).

Rummage sale set at church

PETERSBURG

Petersburg Presbyterian Church, Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road, will have a rummage sale Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
