African American Heritage Festival

The fourth annual African American Male Wellness Walk will start at 7 a.m. Aug. 20 in the parking lot of the Covelli Centre, 229 E. Front St. This free 5K walk, run and cycle event does not require registration and will serve as the kickoff for African American Heritage Weekend which will take place from 2 to 9 p.m. at Federal Plaza.

All day festival passes will be $5 and the event will feature live DJ’s, spoken word performances, a line dancing session, contests and food vendors. For information go to www.aawalk.com or call 330-788-1696.
