Kirkpatrick, Mark wedding set in August

Jennifer Kirkpatrick of Northborough, Mass., and Christopher Mark of Atlanta, are engaged and planning an Aug. 6 wedding. His parents are announcing the engagement.

The parents of the bride-elect are Marcia Kirkpatrick of Northborough and Dr. Joseph Kirkpatrick of Worcester, Mass. The parents of the future groom are Donna and John Mark of McDonald.

Invitations have been issued for a 5:30 p.m. ceremony at Glen Manor House, Portsmouth, R.I., where a reception will follow.

The bride-to-be earned a bachelor’s degree from Emerson College in Boston and is studying for her master’s degree in public health at Tufts University, Boston. She is a features writer for RuLaLa in Boston.

The prospective groom earned a bachelor’s degree from Mount Union College and a degree in mechanical engineering from Harvard College in Cambridge, Mass. He works as a restaurant operations manager for Uber Eats in Atlanta.
