The students at Poland North Preschool celebrated their last day of school with a fun day on Thursday, May 26 and Friday, May 27.

Joy Bucci’s class of 3-year-olds had its fun day on May 26, while Bucci’s class of 4- and 5-year-olds, Samantha Cox’s transitional kindergarten class and Terry Wittenauer’s preschool class had their fun day on the 27.

One of the student’s mothers brought in an inflatable bouncy house for the students to play on inside the building. Many of the other activities the teachers had planned took place outside.

The students drew with chalk, played with water and had a giant rainbow parachute, among other fun activities.

The day was filled with happiness as well as sadness.

The students were happy they got to play with their friends in other classes as they prepared for summer break. The teachers, although happy for break, were sad to see their students leave.

The students said their good-byes to their friends and teachers as they ate popsicles before going home for the summer.
