Canfield Lions Club welcomes May speakers

Neighbors | Submitted.Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Mike Vitullo spoke to the Canfield Lions on May 19 about the Patrol’s Distracted Drivers program.

The Canfield Lions welcomed two speakers during the month of May.

On May 5, Lion Dr. Lydia Rose, Chair of International Relations for Lions District 13-D, spoke about Student Volunteer Services to Humanity (SVOCH). Optometry students visit foreign countries with eye glasses the Lions collect. The students conduct eye exams and distribute the collect eye glasses.

On May 19, Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Mike Vitullo spoke about their Distracted Drivers program. Vitullo also covered the many other areas of what the State Patrol does. Questions and discussions about the topics followed.
