All American Cards and Comics will host the seventh annual All Ameri-Con comic book, toy and art show at W.D. Packard Music Hall on Sunday with special guests James O’Barr, creator of “The Crow,” and Darryl Banks, who worked extensively on the Green Lantern.

“All Ameri-Con continues to build,” said founder and All American Cards and Comics owner Greg Bartholomew. “This year we’ve extended the show by two hours in order to spread the crowds out. The only complaint we’ve had in six years of running the show is that it gets too crowded.”

The event will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Packard hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave. NW. Admission is $5 per person.

O’Barr’s “The Crow” character became the basis of a 1994 film of the same name. Banks is the co-creator of the Kyle Rayner Green Lantern character and was the artist on the Green Lantern comic for most of the 1990s, creating new looks for many of that title’s stable of characters.

“We know this All Ameri-Con will be the biggest one so far with over 80 retailer and artist tables. I expect attendance to be well over 2,000 people,” said Boardman All American Cards and Comics manager Randy Moy. “Nothing is better than seeing hundreds of happy fans streaming in and out all day.”

The event will also include free costume contests for adults and kids.
