Wychwood Lane fire does $5,000 in damage

YOUNGSTOWN — A fire early Wednesday morning at a 177 Wychwood Lane home caused $5,000 in damage.

Crews were called about 1:40 a.m. to the home and had to force open the front door and put out a fire in the living room, reports said. The fire started in a room on the first floor and was contained there.

The cause is under investigation. No one was injured.
