Thunderstorms leave some without power tonight in the Valley

A thunderstorm has resulted in scattered power outages, most of which are concentrated in Youngstown.

As of 9 p.m., FirstEnergy reported 22 Youngstown customers without power, in addition to three affected customers in Girard and two in Struthers.

Youngstown police and fire officials are responding to multiple reports of felled trees throughout the city and an official reported over dispatch at about 8:45 p.m. that traffic lights at Lincoln and Wick Avenues went completely dark.
