Police: Cleveland officer hit by car while directing traffic

CLEVELAND (AP) — Authorities say a Cleveland police officer has been injured after he was struck by a car while directing traffic.

Cleveland.com reports it happened at about 8 a.m. on Tuesday. The officer was taken to a hospital but authorities haven’t released his condition.

Authorities didn’t immediately identify the officer.

The incident remains under investigation.
