Youngstown man arrested with stolen car in Boardman


BOARDMAN — Police arrested a Youngstown man for driving a stolen vehicle Saturday afternoon.

Eshone Christain, 24, of Monte Cello Boulevard, reportedly flagged down an officer at 4 p.m. on Meadowbrook Boulevard.

Christain asked for directions, but dispatch reportedly advised the officer the Chevy Cruz that Christain was driving was reported stolen from a Liberty resident.

The officer held Christain and a passenger at gun point until back up arrived to arrest Christain and release the passenger at the scene.

Christain was transported to the Mahoning County jail with bond set at $4,000. He awaits arraignment at the Mahoning County Court on Wednesday.
