Women claim pair threw car jack through their car window

YOUNGSTOWN — Reports said someone threw a car jack through the back window of a car early Tuesday morning at a 3200 Market St. gas station.

Officers were called at about 2:55 a.m. to go the gas station take a report of a car being damaged. They found between 60 to 70 cars at the area around the gas station and other officers had to be called to clear the area.

Two women told police they were arguing with two other women earlier at a South Avenue club and they decided to leave. Reports said the victims were pursued by the two women to the gas station, where one of the women threw the jack, which was stuck in the window when police got there.

No one was injured.
