Mr. and Mrs. White celebrate 50th anniversary

NEW BERN, N.C.

Mr. and Mrs. John (Jeff) White of New Bern, N.C., formerly of Poland, marked their 50th anniversary June 11 with a celebration dinner at Holiday Inn in Boardman hosted by their family before embarking on a three-week cross country trip.

Their children are John Jr. of Forest City, N.C., Amy of New Bern and Paul of Durham, N.C. They also have nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The former Cynthia Centofante and Mr. White were married June 17, 1966, in Columbia, S.C.

Mrs. White works as a human resource assistant for Bosch and is a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, both in New Bern.

Mr. White retired as a station manager for FedEx and is a U.S. Army veteran. He served in Germany as a sergeant for two years.
