Matt Gibson pitched five strong innings in the victory, allowing two runs on four hits, while striking out five and walking one. Gibson also was the hitting star of the game, slugging four hits, including a triple, scoring two runs and driving home another.
Creekside Fitness 9, Southside Recycling 8
STRUTHERS
Creekside Fitness scored three times in the bottom of the seventh to stun Southside Recycling. Dom Pecchia led Creekside with three hits, including a double, and two RBIs in the game. Bryce Richey also smacked a double among his two hits, scored twice and drove in a run. Anthony Potesta had two hits for Southside, one of which being a triple, and Logan Pullin had three hits and scored twice.
Baird Brothers 18, Roby Lee’s 1
STRUTHERS
Chad Coles pitched a complete game for Baird, yielding just one run on three hits, while striking out seven. Dom Bucko led the Baird barrage with three hits, including a home run, totaling four runs scored and two RBIs. Josh Anderson also slugged a triple and a double and drove in four runs.

STRUTHERS
Mike Soots had two hits and an RBI for Avalanche. Aaron Williams scored both of his team’s runs in the game. Aiden Warge crossed home for Knightline’s only run of the game.

STRUTHERS
Andy Sodergren got the win for DuraEdge, tossing six innings of seven-hit ball. Matt Senchak had two hits, two RBI and a run scored for DuraEdge, while Kyle Shingledecker had two hits and an RBI. Johnny Medvec blasted two doubles and scored Roth’s only run of the game.

Mike Yasenka picked up the win for DuraEdge, yielding just an unearned run on three hits, while striking out six and walking four. Zach Senchak led all hitters with three hits, including a triple, and a run scored. Hunter Steele had two hits, two runs and two RBI while Jarret Lyon had two hits and an RBI of his own.

Fleeger took a no-decision for Baird, pitching seven innings and yielding three runs on ten hits while striking out eleven. Tim Pitko led Knightline with three hits and two RBIs, while Hayden Savage and Anthony Cinicola each had two hits.

STRUTHERS
Astro scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh. Joe Faber picked up the win in relief of Alex Cardona, who tossed six innings, allowing just two runs (one earned) on seven hits. Jackson Deemer went the distance in the loss for Creekside, yielding three runs on five hits while striking out eleven. Dom Stilliana had two hits, a run and an RBI for Astro. River Ward hit an RBI single for Creekside.

Knightline 10, Baird Brothers 3 (Knightline wins series 2-0)
STRUTHERS
Knightline secured a spot in the Class b Championship Series. Tom Pitko picked up the win, allowing two runs on three hits over 42/3 innings. Tim Herberger helped lead the way for Knightline with three hits, including a three-run double, while also scoring two runs as well. Troy Waliszewski had three hits and two runs of his own. Jim Fitzgerald headed the Baird offense with two hits and two runs scored.
