McGuffey Centre begins fundraising drive for new roof

YOUNGSTOWN

McGuffey Centre, 1649 Jacobs Road, is replacing its roof and is beginning fundraising with a “Raise the Roof 3000 for 100” campaign.

Center officials are seeking support of individuals who have benefited from the services and activities provided by the East Side facility.

The campaign seeks to get 3,000 people to donate $100 each, although contributions of lesser amounts are welcome. All charitable gifts are tax deductible.

For each $100 received during the campaign, the Youngstown Foundation has agreed to provide a 5 percent match.

Checks should be made out to Youngstown Foundation with McGuffey Centre indicated on the memo line. They can be mailed to ANC/McGuffey Centre, P.O. Box 717, Youngstown, OH 44501, or to the Youngstown Foundation, P.O. Box 1162, Youngstown, OH 44501.
