UPDATE | Flight from Youngstown arrived at busy Terminal 3

CHICAGO — Those on the first flight from Youngstown to Chicago arrived at 9:43 a.m. central time today.

The flight lasted one hour and 12 minutes for the 36 on board.

Getting off of the plane, passengers arrived into Terminal 3, Concourse L with multiple restaurants in view at the Chicago O'Hare International Airport.

Other airlines in this concourse include Frontier, Spirit and American.

Many passengers aboard the first flight for the Great Lakes Jet Express commented on what a good flight it was.

Veronica Viola and Joe Viola of Champion were two of those passengers on their way to visit their son who lives in Chicago.

"It feels great to be a part of something historical," said Veronica Viola. "I tell you what, it's gonna bring a lot of revenue in."

"It feels really good looking on the flight information display and seeing Chicago," said Dan Dickten, director of aviation for the airport said earlier this morning before the flight took off. "We have been working on this for two and a half years."
