Poland North Preschool students celebrated their graduation from preschool on May 25 and 26.
Joy Bucci, Terry Wittenauer and Samantha Cox handed their students diplomas as they walked across the staged for graduation. Bucci and Wittenauer’s class had their graduation on May 25 and Cox had hers on the 26.
All three classes put on a short program for their family members before receiving their diplomas. Each of the teachers did something a little different for their class to make the graduation unique.
Bucci showed a video prior to the students singing a few songs for their families. When the students finished singing, it was time for them to receive diplomas. One-by-one the students’ names were called as they walked down the stairs to shake Bucci’s hand and get their diploma.
Wittenauer’s class showed off their talent by singing a variety of songs to their family members before walking across the room to get their diploma.
Cox’s class sang a few songs and recited a little poem. Cox then listed each student and said what she thought they were going to be when they grew up.
The students laughed when they heard what she thought and many of them agreed with her predictions.
The students and their families celebrated their graduation with cake and drinks after the ceremony ended. Both teachers and family members were proud of the students on accomplishing their school year and making the move to kindergarten.
