Man gets 19 years for traveling to Ohio for sex with teen

CLEVELAND — A Knoxville, Tenn., man has been sentenced in federal court to 19 years and 10 months in prison for traveling from Tennessee to Ohio to sexually exploit a 14-year-old girl, the U.S. Attorney said.

David K. Turner, 24, had earlier pleaded guilty to a four-count indictment that charged him with sexually exploiting a minor, distributing a visual depiction of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct, coercing and enticing a minor, and traveling with the intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct.

The case was investigated by Canton and Massillon police and the FBI.
