Cruze sales down in June

LORDSTOWN — Sales for the Lordstown-built Chevrolet Cruze dropped 17.6 percent in June, according to data released by General Motors today.

GM sold 18,666 Cruzes in June of this year, compared to 22,647 last year.

GM total sales were down 1.6 percent to 255,210 vehicles. Last June, the company sold 259,353 vehicles.

GM sold 209,295 vehicles in June to retail customers, up 1.2 percent year-over-year.
