ASSOCIATIONS

Mill Creek Chapter of American Business Women’s Association will meet July 12 at the Georgiana Parker Center at Boardman Park and will install the new executive board members. Networking will be at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30. Chicken will be provided. Members should take a covered dish to share. The cost is $10 per person. Tri-Gold Primetime Chapter of American Business Women’s Association will meet July 13 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. A social at 5:30 p.m. will precede the dinner meeting at 6. Cost is $15 per person; the menu comprises hot dogs, hamburgers, jojo potatoes, potato salad, macaroni salad, fruit, rolls and butter, coffee, tea and dessert. Bob Schaeffer, a Mahoning County deputy, will present a program on identity theft. The 2016-17 officers will be installed. Reservations can be made until July 8 by calling Dolores at 330-757-9368. ALLIANCES

Ohio Cultural Alliance will meet at 6 p.m. July 11 at the Embassy Banquet Center, 5030 Youngstown-Poland Road, Boardman. Cultural enrichment will be provided by the Youngstown Connection. Ikram Khawwaja, Ph. D., and Randa Shabayek will discuss “Faith in the Valley: Islam.” Salvation Army will be the recipient of the monthly project which will be personal hygiene items and toiletries. CLASSES

Campbell Memorial January and June Classes of 1950 will meet for lunch at noon Wednesday at Bedford Trails Golf Course in Coitsville.

Campbell Memorial Class of 1955 will meet for its monthly breakfast at 10 a.m. Saturday at What’s Cookin’ in the Mathews Road Plaza in Boardman. Classmates, spouses and guests are welcome.

Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1951 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Landmark Restaurant, 7424 Market St., Boardman. Classmates and guests are welcome.

CLUBS

Warren Women’s Connection, an affiliate of Stonecroft Ministries invites all women, including high school and college students, to attend its July 11 luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at DiLucia’s Banquet Center, 2610 Elm Road NE, Warren. The speaker will be Sherry Gray, a restaurant researcher and traveler from New Carlisle, Ind. A Civil Air Patrol Flag Drill will salute the flag. The program will be a Free Style Karate Duo Drill. Linda Crank of Warren will provide music. Stonecroft is a non-denominational organization that reaches out to all women across the country and around the world. Luncheons are held the second Monday of each month.

SUPPORT GROUPS

Alzheimer Network Family Support Groups will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Zion Reformed United Church of Christ, 260 Main St., Greenville, Pa.; and 10 a.m. Wednesday at Children’s Rehabilitation Center, 855 Howland-Wilson Road, Howland. NAMI Mahoning Valley will offer support groups for those who deal with mental illness. Family support groups, providing information for family members and friends of individuals with mental illness, will be offered the first Thursday of each month in Trumbull County at 11 a.m. at the Girard Library, 105 E. Prospect St., and on the second Tuesday of each month in Mahoning County at 7 p.m. at the D & E Counseling Center, 142 Javit Court, Austintown. The Connection support group aims to connect individuals who live with mental illness in a structured discussion format. It is limited to adults living with a mental health diagnosis in order to promote self-disclosure in a safe, confidential environment. It is free and open to anyone with a mental health diagnosis. They meet for a day session at 1:30 p.m. each Thursday at the Community Center, 1344 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, and in the evenings at 6 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at the D & E Center. R-Weigh Weight Support Groups meet on Mondays at First Friends Church, 1028 Jennings Ave., Salem. Afternoon weigh-in is from 1 to 1:30 p.m., and the meeting will follow at 1:45. Evening weigh-ins are from 5 to 6 p.m. followed by the meeting at 6:15. The first meeting is free. Guests are welcome. The club is an all-volunteer, nonprofit group of women helping women to lose weight. All money paid returns to the members in incentives to lose weight.
