Authorities: School bus, car collide, killing motorist, hurting 6 children

TROY, Ohio

Authorities say a school bus-car collision killed the car’s driver and injured six children in southwestern Ohio.

Chief Deputy Dave Duchak of the Miami County Sheriff’s Office says the car’s driver – 21-year-old Taylor Dickey – was ejected and died at the scene in Union Township on Thursday.

Authorities say six children on the bus suffered minor injuries.

Authorities say the crash occurred about 7 a.m.

Duchak says the bus was traveling eastbound on Ohio 55 when the car traveling westbound at a high rate of speed went left of center and hit the bus.
