Multiple theft-from-auto cases reported in Boardman


BOARDMAN — Multiple theft-from-auto cases were reported in the township Wednesday.

Police responded to a Lemans Drive apartment about 6 a.m. for a report that someone had smashed out a vehicle’s window and took loose change, an iPod and jewelry valued at several thousand dollars.

Just after 7 a.m., an Arlene Avenue resident reported that someone had entered two unlocked vehicles and stole $8. Another Arlene Avenue resident reported a similar incident, in which someone stole sunglasses, change, and a briefcase and its contents from an unlocked vehicle.

A Cohasset Drive resident later reported that someone had broken a vehicle’s window and stolen a television display and some audio equipment.
