SEBRING UPDATE | Sebring bottled-water distribution plan revised


SEBRING — The village has updated its bottled-water distribution plan until federal and state authorities say the village's water system is safe.

Each qualifying person in the household will receive the equivalent of one gallon per person per day not to exceed a supply of six days.

To receive the water, you must be a current resident receiving water from the village water system and must provide proof; current business served by the water system and must provide proof; pregnant; and have children from birth to 6 years old living in the household.

Households and businesses that test OK on water quality now will be ineligible to received the bottled water.

The distribution center remains Sebring Community Center, 305 W. Texas Ave., and distribution hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Village officials said distribution hours for next week will be announced later.
