Ladies Night Out is set for Friday

A Ladies Night Out overnight event will take place beginning at 5 p.m. Friday and continuing through 10 a.m. Saturday at Das Dutch Village Inn, 150 state Route 14.

Friday evening will offer four 45-minute activity sessions starting at 6:15 p.m. They are a healthy Indian cooking class with Priya Patel, a skin and beauty clinic with Erin Roberts, a floral arranging class and motivational weight-loss clinic with Teresa Welton. An appetizer and dessert buffet and dance party will follow.

Saturday morning activities will include a women’s health fair with free health screenings from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and a healthy breakfast buffet from 9 to 10.

Cost is $59.95 per person plus tax. The Columbiana and Canfield offices of the Center for Women are sponsoring the event.

Youth Explosion ’16 planned for Saturday

“Everything You Touch is a Song” is the theme of Youth Explosion 2016 planned at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at St. James Church of God in Christ, 1838 Main St. SW. Dr. Melvin Howard is pastor.

Special guest will be Curtis Lewis of Aliquippa, Pa., and Purpose of Farrell, Pa.

There will be drill and flag teams, mimes and other talent.
