Rachel Melewski, Brendon Badway are engaged

CANFIELD

Ray and Fran Melewski are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Melewski, and Brendon Badway. All are of Canfield.

Lawrence and Theresa Badway of Alpha, N.J., are parents of the prospective groom.

The couple will wed in a 2 p.m. May 21 open ceremony at St. Christine’s Church. Invitations will be issued for a reception to follow at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center. Both are in Youngstown.

The couple are graduates of Ohio State University, where Miss Melewski earned a bachelor’s degree in health information management and systems and he received a bachelor’s degree in biology.

The bride-elect is pursuing a doctorate of physical therapy from Youngstown State University.

Her future husband is a sales representative for SenSource Inc. in Youngstown.
