Miss Ahlfield, Mr. Goffos are engaged

CORTLAND

Dan and Mary Goffos of Cortland are announcing the engagement and upcoming wedding of their son, Christopher Goffos, and Kristine Ahlfield.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Jerry Ahlfield of St. Louis and Dorothy Ahlfield of Fort Madison, Iowa.

The couple will exchange vows on Jan. 30 at St. Joseph’s Church, and a reception will follow at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill. Both are in Washington, D.C.

Miss Ahlfield graduated from Iowa State University and is deputy press secretary for Iowa senator Chuck Grassley.

Mr. Goffos studied at Ashland University. He is assistant director of the faculty division at The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies.
