Jean Johnson exchanged marriage vows with Christopher Bogan during a ceremony at 3 p.m. Oct. 10, 2015, at Holy Rosary Parish in Lowellville with the Rev. John Jerek officiating. A reception followed at The Georgetown in Boardman.

Parents of the newlyweds are Marilyn and Roger Johnson of Poland and Angela and Terry Bogan of Boardman.

The bride wore a white princess-style gown with a halter neckline that featured a bodice adorned with lace, pearls and sequins.

Candace Papp was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Channa Felger; Julie Detchon; the bride’s cousin, Kelsey Brown; and the groom’s sister, Jenna Cooke. The attendants wore garnet-colored dresses.

Louis Garland performed duties of best man. Groomsmen included Joe Hellman, Dave Cunningham, Brad Nolsheim and the brother-in-law of the groom, Matt Cooke. Ushers were Barry Wardle and Greg Swantek.

The Bogans attended Youngstown State University.

Mrs. Bogan earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and is an assistant branch manager at PNC Bank in Butler, Pa. Her husband is a driver for Fuhrer Wholesale in Pittsburgh.

The couple traveled to Atlantic City, N.J. and New York City for their honeymoon. They live in Boardman.
