No. 8 Arizona State 61, Arizona 49

TEMPE, ARIZ.

Elisha Davis scored 16 points and had five steals to help No. 8 Arizona State beat rival Arizona 61-49 on Friday night. Sophie Brunner added 15 points and seven of the Sun Devils’ 17 steals as the Pac-12-leading Sun Devils (16-3, 7-0) ran their winning streak to 13 games and remained the only undefeated team in the conference. ASU’s current ranking ties the highest ever for the program, and Friday’s win tied the Sun Devils’ best start to conference play in school history. The Sun Devils, the Pac-12’s top scoring defense in conference play, have held 17 of their last 18 opponents below their average point total per game. The Wildcats came in scoring 59.1 points a game.

No. 20 UCLA 75, California 56

LOS ANGELES

Monique Billings had 14 points and nine rebounds and Nirra Fields added 12 points to help No. 20 UCLA beat California. Jordan Canada scored 12 points and Lajahna Drummer had eight points and 12 rebounds for UCLA (13-5, 5-2 Pac-12), which snapped an eight-game losing streak against California (10-8, 1-6). Kristine Anigwe scored 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds despite early foul trouble. Penina Davidson added 13 points for California, which lost its fourth in a row and sixth in its last seven.

No. 24 Depaul 81, Creighton 63

CHICAGO

Megan Podkowa and Jessica January each scored 16 points to help DePaul beat Creighton for its fourth straight win in the series. Podkowa was 7 of 10 from the field and January had seven rebounds, seven assists and four steals. DePaul broke it open with a 31-11 second quarter in which Podkowa scored nine points and January had six. Chanise Jenkins added 11 points, six rebounds and seven assists for DePaul (15-6, 7-1 Big East), which leads the conference as its only one-loss team.
