Jefferson (10-1) led by 25 points at halftime. Sam Hitchcock led the Falcons with 18 points, Jacob Adams and Brevin White each scored 17 points, Blake Payne added 16 points and Sage Cantini had 15 points. Daniel Evans led Lakeview (4-11, 2-4) with 11 points.

Poland 70, Howland 53

HOWLAND

Jared Burkert made four threes in a 17-point performance for Poland (12-1) and Matt Baker added 11 points. For Howland (5-6) Connor Tamarkin and Luciano Romeo finished in double figures with 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Niles 65, Struthers 33

NILES

Cameron Kane Johnson matched Struthers’ roster with 33 points, including five 3-pointers. The Red Dragons are 7-7. Andrew Carbon led Struthers (4-7) with 11 points.

Champion 74, Girard 72

CHAMPION

Drake Batcho scored 18 points and Eric Karafa 17 to lead the Golden Flashes. Also scoring in double figures were Lucas Nasonti with 14 and Michael Turner with 12. For the Indians, Darrian Tiggett led with a game-high 21 points. Anthony Graziano made four 3-pointers for 12 points and Mark Standohar scored 11.

Rootstown 42, Newton Falls 41

ROOTSTOWN

A fourth-quarter comeback helped Rootstown edge out Newton Falls for the win, with CC Hluch leading the team with 13 points. Newton Falls was led by Noah Suarez with 15 points and Ben Simpson with 11.

LEAVITTSBURG

Logan Kiser and Aaron Iler each scored 14 points to lead the Vikings. Also scoring in double figures with Grant Sprague with 11 and Caelen Highland and Carlton Brown each with 10. For the Red Devils, Rayshawn Hicks and Trey Edwards each scored 14 points.

Steubenville 82, Cardinal Mooney 72

STEUBENVILLE

Cardinal Mooney (7-5) never recovered from a slow start. Dmitri Collaros scored 20 points as one of six Steubenville (9-4) players to finish in double figures. Andrew Armstrong led the Cardinals with a double double of 20 points and 15 rebounds. Trell Thomas added 19 points and Patrick Pelini had 11 points.

Jake Ford poured in 30 points to lead the Tigers. Graham Mincher scored 15 points. For the Bulldogs, Grant Wagner and Parker Sherry each scored 16 points.

HANOVERTON

South Range (11-4) led 45-10 at halftime. Dan Ritter led the Raiders with 14 points, Mitch Dolak added 12 points and both Anthony Ritter and Preston Stitt scored 10 points. Caleb Berdine led United (4-8) with nine points.

Lisbon 68, Wellsville 50

WELLSVILLE

Austin Rutecki scored 20 points, Josh Craig added 17 points and Josh Liberati notched 14 points as Lisbon (14-1, 5-0) downed Wellsville (11-5, 2-3). Justin Miller paced Wellsville with a game-high 33 points.

Lowellville 77, McDonald 63

LOWELLVILLE

Cole Beatty’s 33 points and Tyler Barone’s 23 were enough to lift Lowellville to a home victory over McDonald. Jake Reckard led the Blue Devils with 14 points while Zack Fedyski and Matt Howard added 12 and 10 each in the losing effort.

Dominick Michael led for Southern with 16 total points. Other high contributors were Troy Holden with 15 and Christian Adkins with 14 points. Evan Davis led Leetonia with 13 total points.

Burdette Baker scored 16 points and made 10 rebounds to lead the Clippers. Also scoring in double figures were Diego Villatoro with 14 and Gannon Hartley with 12. For the Lions, Nathan Sommers scored 17 points and Ben Burgess 12.

Lance Dezee scored 14 points to lead the Blue Devils. Cole Dezee, Ryan Dempsey and Jack Cappibanca each scored 11. For the Bluejays, Noah Laster scored 13 points.

Jason Dixion and Josh Zmuda paced Sebring with 19 points apiece. Mineral Ridge was led by Aaron Frantz’s 15 points.
