South Side house fire

Youngstown firefighters battle smoke Friday on the front porch of 361 W. Evergreen Ave. The South Side home caught fire about 3:40 p.m. A woman who was inside was treated for minor injuries at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, and a firefighter suffered minor burns. A cause has not yet been determined. The home is a total loss.
