Water distribution site being set up in Sebring
SEBRING — A water distribution center is being set up at the Sebring Community Center at 305 W. Texas Ave., the Mahoning County Emergency Management Agency announced this afternoon.
The county EMA, county commissioners, village of Sebring and state EMA are coordinating safety efforts after test results released by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency indicated higher-than-usual lead levels in the drinking water supply.
County Commissioner Anthony Traficanti today initiated the disbursement of 150 pallets of bottled water, supplied by the state EMA, to the community.
The water will be distributed at the following times:
• Today: 5–8 p.m.
• Saturday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Sunday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Monday through Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
