Niles church accepting Smart Choice food orders

New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., is accepting orders for Smart Choice food at the church with cash, check, money order or Ohio Direction Cards from 11 a.m. to noon Feb. 8.

Orders also will be taken at Niles Community Services, 401 Vienna Ave., from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. the same day.

Boxes range in price from $18 to $40 and include meat and vegetables, convenience meals, chicken-bites box, pasta box, kids box and a breakfast box. There is a special 10-pound mini-corn-dog box available for $20 with the purchase of any other box.

There are no income restrictions or guidelines.

Online specials at www.smartchoicefood.com can be ordered on the website or at the church.

Mail-in orders will be accepted with payment by postal or bank money order or certified check to New Hope Church.

Payment and mail-in orders must be received by Feb. 5.

Online ordering will be taken through Feb. 14. A 3-percent handling fee will be added to all online orders.

Distribution is scheduled for 9 to 10 a.m. Feb. 20.
