Boardman police make drug arrests

Township police nabbed several people on drug-related charges today and Thursday.
Mykael Zolovick, 21, of Youngstown, is charged with possession of drug-abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia, and Hiram Urrutia-Ramos, 27, of Johnstown, Pa. is charged with possession of drug-abuse instruments for an incident reported Thursday.
Police reportedly were dispatched to a Market Steet auto business in reference to two men attempting to sell tools that possibly were stolen. Police stopped Zolovick and Urrutia-Ramos on Market Street and reportedly found a needle on Urrutia-Ramos and a crack pipe and syringe on Zolovick.
Urrutia-Ramos told police he's been a heroin user since age 14, according to a police report.
They were taken to the Mahoning County jail.
Early Friday morning, police arrested Stephanie Dudley, 23, of Greenville, Pa., and Ryan Gavala, 33, of Hermitage, Pa. on drug-related charges during a traffic stop on South Avenue at Indianola. A canine was called in to sniff the vehicle, according to a police report.
Dudley is charged with drug possession after police allegedly found unprescribed drugs on her person.
Gavala is charged with possession of drug-abuse instruments and obstructing official business after police allegedly found a needle on him and after he reportedly refused to give them identifying information. He also was cited for marijuana possession, and was found to have an active warrant out of Trumbull County for a probation violation.
All suspects are scheduled to appear in Mahoning County Area Court here Tuesday.
