Mill Creek Park's Lily Pond to reopen to public Friday

YOUNGSTOWN — The Lily Pond in Mill Creek Park, which has been closed to the public for several months, will reopen to the public Friday.

The park has completed work on improvements that include a new arrival plaza, a boardwalk leading to an observation deck, a bridge over the spillway and more.

The project has made the pond more accessible to visitors of all abilities, park officials said.
