Janitor arrested during after-hours party at Ohio school

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Police in northern Ohio say they arrested a janitor at a charter school during an after-hours party he threw for his birthday.

Officers in Toledo say they found the man passed out at the school last weekend after responding to reports of a fight.

A police spokesman says officers found broken bottles and blood inside the Academy of Educational Excellence.

Police say Devon Loggins of Toledo used his keys to get inside and throw the party. He pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct on Tuesday.

Court records don’t indicate whether Loggins has a defense attorney. The Associated Press attempted to reach several possible relatives.

Ten other people were cited on charges that include trespassing or unruliness.

A school spokesman says officials there are looking into what happened.
