‘A Date With the Bronte Sisters’

Actress, author and storyteller Carol Weakland will present “A Date with the Bronte Sisters,” a one-woman show based on “Jane Eyre” and “Wuthering Heights,” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and again Jan. 29 and 30; and at 2 p.m. Sunday and Jan. 31 at Victorian Players Theatre, 702 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown. Weakland brings the literary characters to life in an intimate and personal manner. She spent time at the parsonage where novelists Charlotte and Emily Bronte lived to gain insight into how it suffused their characters.
