Man pleads not guilty in Ohio woman’s fatal shooting

LORAIN, Ohio (AP) — A man accused of fatally shooting a 59-year-old woman in a northeast Ohio home has pleaded not guilty to a charge of murder.

Court officials say a Lorain Municipal Court judge set a $1 million bond Tuesday for Anthony Wayne Davis.

Police say Davis shot the woman after an argument Saturday evening, though the nature of the dispute is unclear. Police say they knew each other before the shooting.

Officers arrested Davis on Sunday outside a Lorain apartment building.
