Analysis shows economic status affects student outcomes

COLUMBUS

An analysis of the most recent state report card for school districts shows disparities between economically-disadvantaged students and those who aren’t economically disadvantaged.

The analysis was released this morning by the Ohio School Boards Association, Ohio Association of School Business Officials and Buckeye Association of School Administrators.

Last year, information from the Ohio Department of Education ranked Youngstown, Campbell and Warren among the state’s five poorest districts.
