YSU library briefly evacuated after steam pipe break triggers alarm

YOUNGSTOWN

The Maag Library at Youngstown State University was evacuated for a short time this morning after a steam pipe broke, activating a smoke alarm.

When campus and city firefighters determined there was no danger, students, faculty and staff were allowed back in. Ron Cole, YSU spokesman, said the evacuationg lasted about 15 minutes.
