Workers drilling oil well injured

VIENNA TOWNSHIP

An accident at an oil drilling site Monday sent two workers to the hospital, Vindicator broadcast partner WFMJ TV 21 reported.

Emergency crews from Vienna and Brookfield townships were dispatched at about 12:45 p.m. to a well along Warner Road, just south of Amy Boyle Road. Dispatchers were told that two men were injured when they were struck by a pipe. The injuries are not serious, according to crews on the scene, the station reported. The names of the victims were not available.
