Brighleigh Macaulay scored 18 points to lead West Holmes (13-2) in the Classic in the Country showdown. Hannah Clark contributed 13 points and eight rebounds. For the Tigers (10-5), Sara Price scored 14 points.

WRESTLING

Canfield finished fifth in Saturday’s Bill Dies Tournament in Akron. Georgio Poulas took first place, Jacob Esarco second, and David Crawford and Mason Giordano fourth. Also placing were CJ Frost (fifth), Anthony Joseph (sixth) and and Jaret Bunch (eighth). In the Top Gun Tournament in Alliance, Fitch had five wrestlers place: Adam Green (sixth), Matt Rood (sixth place), Marco Perry (eighth), Isiah Jackson (eighth) and Chris Droege (Eighth). Poland had four athletes place: Anthony Audi (second), Trey Ellis (third), Dante Ginetti (fourth) and David Esarco (seventh). Boardman’s Tyler Dempsey finished in fourth).
