Info: This 7 year old boxer mix has already had 3 homes in her young life... too many. She was already a resident at Angels in 2012 and was successfully adopted but uncommitted owners abandoned her at the Lawrence County Humane Society. Humans have failed her over and over. She needs a family that will stick with her and make her life better. She’s dog friendly but hasn’t been tested with kids or cats.

Info: This 21/2 year old boy was abandoned in the shelter’s drop off area so not much is known about where he came from. However, he’s been neutered and has all his shots, rabies vaccination and microchip. He gets along great with other cats, dogs and kids. He’s very loving and is often the first guy to say hello to volunteers when they arrive. He’s outgoing and easy to get along with, and would like to find a loving forever home.

Hours: Noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; noon to 8 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday; and closed Sunday and Monday.

Info: Angels pets are put up for adoption with shots, worming, neutering or spaying. Cats have been tested for feline AIDS and leukemia, and dogs, for heartworm and temperament.
