SENIOR CITIZENS


AARP Chapter 4611 East will meet Wednesday at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 614 Parmelee Ave., Youngstown. An executive board meeting will take place at 11 a.m., and lunch and a meeting will follow at noon. There will be a 50-50 raffle, and October, November and December birthdays will be celebrated. Dollar Bank Retirees will meet at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s, 154 Boardman-Canfield Road. All former employees are invited to attend, whether or not they have retired. Annual dues of $15 also will be collected. Contact Sandy Ross at 330-506-1290 for information.

Holy Family Seniors will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Parish, 2729 Center Road, Poland. There will be election of officers for 2016. Lunch, bingo and cards will follow. Keenagers of Third Baptist Church will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Plans will be made for trips and activities for the year. New members are welcome.

Liberty 55-Plus Senior Citizens will gather for a regular meeting at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Assembly Church in Liberty. Hostesses are Mary Lou Hluchan and LeeAnn Martyak, who will also preside. Cards will be played, and January birthdays will be acknowledged.

OBES Retirees will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Perkins Restaurant, Route 224, Boardman. All OBES retirees are welcome.

Public Employee Retirees Inc., Mahoning County 18, will meet at noon Feb. 2 at Antone’s Banquet Center, 8578 Market St., Boardman. Members are asked to note the change in location. Guest speaker will be Maureen Cronin. A sit-down lunch of chicken francaise, mashed potatoes with gravy, mixed vegetables, salad, rolls and butter, beverage and marble cake will be served. There will be a money raffle. Cost is $12, payable at the door.
