The Lupus Foundation of America, Greater Ohio Chapter, will host a three-part Lupus Mission Movement Series from 1 to 3 p.m. next Saturday at Fairfield Inn & Suites, 801 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Session one will cover what the foundation has to offer. Session two will explore the disease and how to manage it. Session three will offer empowerment tips during which participants will receive encouragement to fight the disease.

Crash closes SR 5
KINSMAN
The Ohio State Highway Patrol cited a Pennsylvania man for an accident that shut down a portion of state Route 5 north of Kinsman for about 21/2 hours Friday morning.
According to 21 WFMJ-TV, The Vindicator’s broadcast partner, state troopers say Keith Wellmon, 55, of Meadville, Pa., was driving a small pickup truck that slid under a tractor-trailer as it was backing up along Route 5 and Morford East Road.
Wellmon was flown by medical helicopter to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital with injuries described as moderate. The tractor-trailer driver was not injured. Troopers cited Wellmon for failing to keep an assured clear distance.

Austintown police are asking the community to be on the lookout for Anthony Stocks, 83.
Stocks was last seen headed toward Warren on Friday afternoon in a beige 2007 Ford 500 4-door sedan, with Ohio license plate BQ25VK, according to 21 WFMJ-TV, The Vindicator’s broadcast partner.
Stocks is white with gray hair and green eyes and stands almost 6 feet tall, weighing about 225 pounds.
He was wearing a white striped shirt and khaki pants.
Police said he has the early stages of dementia and recently had suffered a loss in the family, resulting in slight depression.
