CLASSES

The Rayen School Class of 1959 will meet for its monthly luncheon at noon Wednesday at Stonebridge Grille & Tavern, 1497 Boardman-Canfield Road, Boardman. All classmates, spouses and guests are welcome. The group meets the third Wednesday of each month.

South High School Alumni Association will meet for breakfast at 9 a.m. Monday at Perkin’s Restaurant. All alumni are welcome.

CLUBS

Friends of the Mahoning River will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Oak Hill Collaborative, 507 Oak Hill, Youngstown. Parking is at the back of the building. Plans will be discussed regarding RiverFest 2016. Anyone who shares the mission of improving the quality of the Mahoning River is welcome. Youngstown Chapter of Torch Clubs International will meet for a dinner at 6 p.m. Monday at Kilcawley Center, Bresnahan Rooms 1 and 2, on campus at Youngstown State University. Club members John K. Fockler Jr. and Janet Moy-Lamonica will debate on requirements for vaccinating children. The public is invited. A social hour begins at 5:30, and the lecture will be at 7. That Quilt Group I Belong To will meet Tuesday in Canfield. Members will work on projects and have a group dinner at the Broad Street Diner from 1 to 5 p.m., and doors will open at 6:30 at Fair Park for the meeting at 7. Members will take and display projects incorporating an attic window, and prizes will be awarded to the two voted favorites. Anyone may attend. Poland Historical Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Little Red Schoolhouse, 4515 Center Road. The program will begin at 7:30 p.m. with representatives from four of Poland’s oldest churches presenting a history of their churches along with some photos. The churches include Poland Presbyterian, Poland United Methodist, Gospel Baptist and Struthers Parkside. Later in the year, history of other churches in Poland will be presented.

SUPPORT GROUPS

Alzheimer Network Family Support Group will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Girard Free Library, 105 East Prospect St., and at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Lakes, St. Catherine Family Center, 1254 Grandview Road, Lake Milton.
