The 25th annual Pigskin Classic sponsored by the Youngstown Shrine Club will take place Jan. 30 at the club, 1735 W. South Range Road. The annual beer-taste will include a sampling of unique local and national brews along with food, entertainment and fellowship. There also will be wine and other beverages available. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. Part of the proceeds will go to the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Business and individual sponsorship opportunities are available. HHS Robotics Team sets dinner

HUBBARD

Hubbard High School Robotics team will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from noon to 5 p.m. Jan. 24 at Grace Lutheran Church, 111 Hall Ave.

Cost is $10 for adults, $8 for 8- to 13-year-olds and free for those 4 and younger with purchase of any adult meal. Dinners include meatballs, bread, salad, dessert and beverage. Takeout is available.

Proceeds benefit the team’s expenses including competitions.

Paint & Dip fundraiser

New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., has changed the details of its Paint & Dip fundraiser.

The event will now take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 6.

Also, the cost of the instructional painting class is now $25 per person and covers everything that will be needed.

Appetizers will be served, and there will be a basket raffle.
