Four people escape South Side house fire

YOUNGSTOWN

Four people escaped their South Side home without injuries today after a fire started in an upstairs bedroom.

The fire at 1911 South Heights Ave. started at 2:36 a.m. and was out in about 15 minutes, firefighters said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, but firefighters said it was likely an electrical problem.

The fire caused about $9,500 in damage.
