THURSDAY

Austintown Grace Lutheran Church, 162 S. Raccoon Road, will have a stuffed chicken dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. The $7 dinner includes mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans and a brownie. Reserve a dinner by calling 330-792-5889. Pepperoni rolls also will be sold for $2 each. Remain in your car at the back of the church, and your dinner will be delivered to you.

Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Drive, Boardman, will have a drive-through stuffed pork chop dinner from 2:30 p.m. until sold out. The dinner includes mashed potatoes, vegetable, coleslaw and dessert. A children’s menu is available. The cost is $8 for adults and $3 for kids. Credit cards are accepted.

Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave. Ext., North Lima, will have its monthly drive-through stuffed chicken breast dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. The dinner includes potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie for $7 per dinner. Drive up to the door, and someone will take the dinners to your car. Call 330-549-2588 to reserve your dinners. Leave your name, phone number, the number of dinners you want and approximate time you will arrive. A percentage of the profits is used for local mission projects.

VFW Col. Louis J. Campbell Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals include meatballs, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. The cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $7.50 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 8 p.m. sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary. Prices are $7 for adults, $3.50 for children under 12 and $7 for carryouts. Meals include meatballs, salad, Italian bread and coffee or tea.

FRIDAY

Calla Community Church, 6482 W. Calla Road, Canfield, will sponsor a soup sale starting at 4 p.m. until sold out. Soups available will be chicken noodle and stuffed pepper. Cost is $6 a quart. Christ the Good Shepherd at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi. The cost is $6 a dozen. Phone orders may be made from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday and beginning at 8 a.m. Friday at 330-755-1316. Orders can be picked up beginning at noon.

Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. The cost is $5.50 a dozen. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi while supplies last. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $11 for adults and $6 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.75. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., will take orders for freshly made potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 per dozen. No containers are necessary. Orders should be placed from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday. Hot lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will sell potato and cheese pirogi. To order call 330-799-0084 from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Cost is $6.50 per dozen (no containers necessary). Walk-ins welcome. Use the side entrance.

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi for $5.50 a dozen. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Walk-ins are welcome.

St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, sells potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi on Fridays. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $6.50 per dozen. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Walk-in orders are welcome.

SATURDAY

Brookfield United Methodist Church, 6951 Grove St., Brookfield, will sponsor a ham loaf and meatloaf dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Menu also includes potatoes, green beans, applesauce and cookies. Western Reserve Masonic Lodge, 216 E. Main St., West Farmington, will sponsor and all-you-can-eat spaghetti and meatball dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. The menu will include salad, bread, pie, coffee and lemonade. Donation is $7 for adults, $4.50 for children 5 to 12 and free to children 4 and under. Takeout also will be available.

SUNDAY

Croatian Home, 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown, will have a chicken noodle soup dinner from noon to 4 p.m. The menu will feature all-you-can-eat chicken noodle soup, one-half baked chicken, mashed potatoes, vegetable, salad, dessert and coffee. Cost is $12.99 plus tax for adults and $6.50 plus tax for children 6 to 12. Meals are free to children 5 and under. Takeout service also will be available. Southington American Legion, 3145 Warren-Burton Road, will sponsor an all-you-an-eat pancake breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children under 12. Those 4 and younger eat free. The menu also includes sausage or biscuits and gravy.

Menu items are eggs, hash browns, sausage or ham, pancakes or freedom toast, toast and coffee or tea. The breakfast is sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary.

TAKING ORDERS

First Presbyterian Church of Girard, 890 Church Hill Road, will be selling 15-inch pepperoni rolls for $8, potato and chicken noodle soup for $5 a quart and $3 a pint, large loaves of bread for $2 and small loaves for $1.50, four sticky buns for $2.50 and six pieces of baklava for $4 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center, 356 S. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown, will sell drive-through stuffed chicken dinners from 3 to 5 p.m. Jan. 28. The meals will be sold on a first come, first served basis for $10 each. The menu includes mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, bread and butter, and dessert.
