Teen reports minor injury following B.B. gun “drive-by”

Police are investigating a report of a teenager assaulted with a BB gun Sunday.

A 17-year-old male told police he was walking down the 300 block of Trumbull Avenue about 3:45 p.m. when a person or people in a black SUV with tinted windows opened fire on him with a BB gun, according to a police report.

The teen reported being struck in the hand and developing a small welt.
